A hunter raised in the far north's snowy plains. As a child, he shot down a wild animal that destroyed his trap; later, in a polar training camp, he learned to blend into the terrain.
His SVDK never has a folding stock; he uses camouflage nets he finds on the spot; he carries only salt, a knife, and steel cable. After firing, he doesn't retreat, he simply moves on. After a mission, he stays a couple more days, buries the spent cartridges, smokes a cigarette, and then gets up and walks back to civilization.
In the Steel Ride Corps, his position is 300 meters behind the Thor mech. When that thunderous advance blasts the target out of cover, Viktor's gunshot is the second thunderclap. Thor is responsible for tearing apart the defenses; he's responsible for ensuring the commander behind those lines never gets up again.
