Growing up in the border ruins, he can judge the number of people upstairs by the vibrations in the ventilation ducts. In the guard unit, he hears the trigger pull three seconds in advance, tackles his teammates, and the bullet grazes his helmet. His pure white tactical uniform blends into the ruins, positioned to the side and front of the formation, walking along the extended line of cover's shadow. Sensors inside his helmet output tactile pulses: vibrations at the temples indicate movement on the left flank, warmth at the back of the neck indicates rear communication. No need to speak, a light tap on the helmet is enough to command.

The armored mechs advance, the steel fortress withstands the impact, tearing open gaps; Kael, thirty meters ahead, detects threats between the steel cracks. He raises his hand in advance, the squad halts, the sniper beam misses. The armored mechs are the shield, and he is the eye before the shield.
