Codenamed Albedo, meaning "Whiteness"—he reflects only light, not hesitation.

His childhood at the polar research station taught him to read the direction of cracks beneath the snow by its light and dark. At fifteen, when raiders stormed in, he raised his signal pistol and, from 300 meters away, struck one of them squarely in the knee. The man fell into the snow, and as blood seeped in, Albedo paused for a moment—he realized that nothing could be hidden beneath white.

Later, during an assessment for the orbital assault team, he first cleared three rooms with his assault rifle, then, catching his breath, used an electromagnetic sniper rifle to take down a target 800 meters away from the same window. The examiner wrote only one word: "Dual Distance."

Albedo's two rifles were both painted gray. The decision of which to use wasn't based on distance, but on timing—the rifle when the enemy moved, the sniper rifle when the enemy stopped. When his teammates charged, he was already setting up his gun on the side; when his teammates went prone, he was pushing forward with his rifle. He wasn't in the center of the firefight, but hovered on the edge.

As the Dragon Fang mech pierced the enemy lines and tore through their defenses, Albedo followed thirty meters to its side. Dragon Fang forced the enemy out of cover, and those forced out couldn't stop.
